Running gas lines from the base to the top of the buoy

Sue Hartman is reporting from the Expedition DY116 were she is part of the ‘Team CO2’ that are measuring carbon dioxide and other gases in the surface ocean around the Porcupine Abyssal Plain (PAP) Fixed Ocean Station (UK-FOS-PAP). The PAP site has one of the longest biogeochemical time series records in Europe and started making year-round surface CO2 measurements at this site 18 years ago to look at changes in greenhouse gases and ocean acidification.
