Logistics for groups from EU member states

The logistics for the inter-comparison for EU groups is straight forward. But we ask for some basic information about the equipment already in April to have enough time to prepare paperwork if needed. We ask all groups to watch the deadlines in the table below to allow a smooth process:

  • Prepare the packing lists by using this template. Send the packing lists to Tobias.
  • Contact Tobias for more details in case you are unsure how to fill the forms.
  • If you need assistance with sending equipment, please contact Tobias.
  • The equipment needs to arrive in Oostende/Belgium latest by June, 15.
  • Please label your equipment with "Equipment for ICOS CO2 Intercomparison 2021" send it to the following address:

02. August 2021 all goods will be shipped back. If this date is too late, please let Tobias know and we arrange differently

Logistics for groups from non-EU member states

The import logistics into the EU for the inter-comparison for non-EU groups are organized by GEOMAR. Therefore we need information about the equipment already in March to prepare the paperwork. We ask all groups to watch the deadlines in the table below to allow a smooth process. GEOMAR is only taking care of the customs in the EU, and the groups still need to prepare the customs in their country.

  • Prepare the packing lists by using this template. The parts with serial numbers are the most important ones. Send the packing lists to Tobias.
  • Contact Tobias for more details in case you are unsure how to fill the forms.
  • If you need assistance with sending equipment, please contact Tobias.
  • The equipment needs to arrive in Kiel/Germany latest by June, 7.
  • If you need us to send the equipment back before August, 2 please let us know. The late date is only for vacation reasons.

12. July 2021 all goods are transferred back to GEOMAR in Kiel/Germany
02. August 2021 all goods will be shipped back. If this date is too late, please let Tobias know and we arrange differently
